L'Artois è una regione storica della Francia settentrionale, al confine con le Fiandre, che fa parte del Departement Pas-de-Calais. Geologicamente i rilievi collinari dell'Artois costituiscono un anticlinorio, ad asse NW-SE, che separa il margine settentrionale del Bassin de Paris da quello meridionale del Bassin de Bruxelles.
